Executive Judicial Assistant
Robin Sapp
Robin brings valuable court administration experience to the State Court of Effingham County. She began her career with Effingham County in April 2021 as a Juvenile Court Clerk, where she developed a strong foundation in court operations, case management, and judicial support.
In January 2025, she advanced to serve as the Executive Judicial Assistant to the Honorable Melissa M. Calhoun, Judge of the State Court of Effingham County. In this role, Robin oversees the administration and processing of filings for both civil and criminal matters and assists with coordinating the Court’s daily operations. Her work helps ensure the efficient administration of justice and the orderly progression of cases through the Court.

Executive Judicial Assistant
Danielle Gibson
Danielle Gibson serves as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Honorable Melissa M. Calhoun, Judge of the State Court of Effingham County. In this role, she provides administrative and operational support to the Judge and assists with coordination related to the Court’s judicial proceedings.

Danielle brings a diverse professional background in legal operations, regulatory compliance, and financial services. Before her work with the court, she held senior leadership roles in bankruptcy operations and compliance, focusing on complex litigation support, policy development, and operational improvement. Her experience across both the public and private sectors supports her commitment to professionalism and the effective administration of justice.
